I know my signal boosting power is scant at most, but if you’re a Homestuck fan, please read about Lambency’s situation and spread the word. If anything, just let people know that she is, in fact, the current official merchant of Homestuck troll horns. Or even just send her some nice emails and good vibes! I can’t even begin to describe how disappointed I am with Hussie and Rachel for handling a professional relationship so poorly, and especially with someone who is desperately in need of all the help they can get, but obviously any attempts to fix that is falling on deaf ears or something. So for now, please just give her your support and kind thoughts. She deserves every bit of love she can get!

I usually just delete the messages. I really don’t like bugging the team members with emails when they have their own full plate. It’s really just my problem and I am sorry I complain. I should be happy with what money is coming in that’s helping my parents along with my medications.
Okay. I really like you and respect you as a person, but you really, REALLY have to stop putting yourself down so much. Maybe you have self-esteem issues and MAYBE life isn’t all that peachy for you right now, but unless you have raped children and pillaged pregnant women while gutting their throats, you do not deserve to feel bad or feel like you’re imposing for asking for BASIC HUMAN RESPECT. THe sheer volume of vitriol the Homestuck fandom is capable of spewing towards one specific person would be enough to call abuse charges on in mainstream society, and it’s starting to bother me that you feel like you should just “be taking them.” No. You shouldn’t. You’re suffering an endless stream of abuse and Hussie and his team are not doing anything to prevent or stop that, even though it’s one small fucking thing like posting “HEY LAMBENCY MAKES OUR HORNS FOR US STOP HATING ON HER” on the main website. NO ONE deserves to just “TAKE THAT” so please stop thinking that.
Keep messaging Hussie and his team because the fact that they can’t put a damn notice on their website in order to protect one of their commissioned artists from abuse and malice is fucking ridiculous. Maybe they just keep missing your emails. Maybe it really is just a misunderstanding, but you really, really have to keep trying and stand up for yourself.
From what I’ve been hearing from you, this has been going on for a while and your work with them has not been the best experience. In that case, be more open about it. Do whatever takes to get people to notice and start trying to contact Hussie and friends en masse so that they can finally fucking change something. Yes, they’re busy, but I don’t think they have an excuse to not do something small to protect you. And if they are too busy to do something that small and basic for you? Then people deserve to know about that and know that, signing up to work with Hussie can potentially mean signing up for a shitty work experience and being the target of endless amounts of mindless hate and not having the primary party do SHIT to help you out about it.
You work hard to provide fans and Hussie with a commodity they want. You do NOT deserve to be treated the way you’re being treated. Please please PLEASE just stand up for yourself and realize that what you’re being subjected to is not normal nor, in any capacity, acceptable. You’re not asking for much, you’re asking for basic fucking dignity and respect on behalf of the fandom. If Hussie won’t even give you that, then I don’t know what to say.
