Favorite breeds can say a lot about a person. He really wants to have a Basset Hound. Being the worldly and experienced man he is, I figured it was to, I dunno, go badger hunting or something ridiculously manly?? But no, he said it was because when they’re puppies they trip over their overlong ears and that’s SOoOoOOoOooOoooo cute!! <— Almost a direct quote. He even said it in a little voice.
